Does anyone else suddenly need a sound machine to fall asleep after buying one for your baby? Well, we splurged on the Hatch sound machine when our daughter was born and when we finally moved her into her own room at 11 months (another whole story), I had hatch withdrawals. I was seriously contemplating buying a Hatch for adults but I think I found a cheaper, albeit slightly humorous workaround. Get yourself one of those cheap, Walmart Vtech audio baby monitors. Turn baby’s Hatch up loud enough so that it comes across as white noise for you on your end of the audio monitor. Voila. You’re welcome.
